If an individual is having financial difficulties or if they are trying to make ends meet, it means they have not convinced their subconscious mind that there is always enough to go around and more. We all know individuals who work a few hours a week and make incredible sums of money. They do not strive or work hard. So, don’t believe the age old story that the only way you can become wealthy is by working hard. It simply isn’t true. Yes, you have to put effort into something and true wealth comes from doing what you love and doing it for the joy and thrill of it.
Many individuals have resistance to saying, I am a millionaire because they believe it isn’t being truthful. However, if you understand how your subconscious mind works than you know you have to state your intention as though it already exists. The subconscious mind only works in the now and doesn’t differentiate whether something is real or imagined. You know you can scare yourself silly by imagining something that isn’t real so use the power of your imagination for something you do want. You have to build your consciousness of wealth and abundance by using present moment statements. You have to continue to focus on what you want so that it becomes a pattern in your subconscious mind.
It has now been scientifically proven that thoughts create neuro-chemistry. We have billions of neuro-pathways which have been created by our thoughts and experiences. It had been formerly held that the brain is a physiologically static organ and neuroscientists now know that this is completely false. Why is this so important? Because the brain does create new neuro-pathways and continues to renew itself until we die. So what you think is important because it creates new connections between existing neurons which becomes a driving force in your life. Therefore in order to create a new experience you must continually focus on what you want while turning completely away from what you don’t want.
This imprints your subconscious mind which is your invisible means of substance. Most individuals only look at what is visible when in fact the invisible is where all of creation starts. Someone with a poverty consciousness will find himself in poverty-stricken conditions. Someone with the consciousness of wealth is surrounded with everything she needs. Man was never designed to live a life of indigence. You can have wealth, everything you need and more. Your words have power to renew your mind by eradicating wrong ideas and instilling right ideas in their place.
We can use Romans 12:2 as a reference showing that even in ancient times people believed that we should do something different with our thinking and to not get trapped into status quo thinking. Many people believed the world was flat until Columbus proved differently, so always take any information you receive for checking and questioning whether or not it is a fit for you.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
The ideal method for building a wealth consciousness is to repeat five minutes a day to yourself three or four times a day, “Wealth – Success” These words have tremendous power. They represent the inner power of the subconscious mind. Anchor your mind on this substantial power within you; then conditions and circumstances corresponding to their nature and quality will be manifested in your life. You are not saying “I am wealthy,” rather you are realigning your energy so that there is no conflict in your mind when you say, “Wealth – Success.” Furthermore the feeling of wealth will begin to fill you up within as you continue to focus on the idea of wealth.
The feeling of wealth produces wealth; keep this in mind at all times your subconscious mind is like a bank, a sort of universal financial institution. It magnifies whatever you deposit or impress upon it whether it is the idea of wealth or of poverty. CHOOSE WEALTH!
So why do so many affirmations fail? I have talked to so many people during the past thirty years whose usual complaint is, “I have said for weeks and months, “I am wealthy, I am prosperous, and nothing happens.” I found that when many people say “I am prosperous, I am wealthy,” they feel as though they are lying to themselves.
I had a student say he affirmed that “I am prosperous” until he was tired. He now is worse off then he was because his conscious mind rejected his affirmations and he experienced the very opposite of what he outwardly wanted. This is why self-hypnosis works so well, You must get the critical factor of the conscious mind out of the way so that the subconscious can absorb what you want without interference from the conscious mind. How many times have you heard I want to win the lottery but if I do I will have to pay the IRS half of what I win. Do you see how insidious this statement is and how it can cut out someone’s wealth?
When I decided I wanted to open a men’s shop I physically went down to Denver and walked into shops thinking this is exactly what I want. Then 21 days to the date I had my shop. Everything fell into place magically because when I affirmed what I wanted, I used self-hypnosis to convince my subconscious mind of what I really wanted.
Your intention succeeds best when it is specific and when it does not produce a mental conflict or argument. Your subconscious mind accepts what you really feel to be true, not just idle words or statements. The dominant idea or belief is always accepted by the subconscious mind. This is why if you want money, do something physical to convince your subconscious mind of what you want to achieve. If you want a romantic relationship you must find a way to really make it feel possible for you. If you want to move to an exotic place then you must use something that really impresses upon your subconscious mind of what you want. For example list the attributes of the person you wish to have a relationship with. If you want to live in an exotic place then gather items that you can physically touch to impress upon your subconscious mind of what you want. If you want money then physically take out your money and play with it or put it into different categories of the way you want to spend your abundance.
Think about how you affirm abundance. Do you state your affirmations with emotion only to immediately begin calculating how you will manifest your desires? To overcome any conflict, here is an ideal way to state an affirmation. “By day and by night I am being prospered in all of my interests.” Making this affirmation just before going to sleep is a great way to plant the seed into your subconscious mind because it doesn’t contradict your conscious mind so your subconscious mind accepts it more readily.
Don’t write bad checks!
You write bad checks when you make such statements such as “There is not enough to go around.” “There is a shortage.” ” I will lose my house because of the economy.” If you have fear about your future, you are writing a bad check and attracting negative conditions to you. Your subconscious mind takes your fear and negative statements as your request and begins to bring in obstacles, delays, lack and limitation into your life.
Your subconscious mind will give you compound interest by multiplying and magnifying whatever you deposit in it. Every morning when you awaken, deposit thoughts of prosperity, success, wealth, and peace. Focus upon these concepts and stay away from the negative news, etc. The constructive and positive thoughts will find their way as deposits into your subconscious mind and attract the abundance and prosperity you wish to have.
I hear individuals say all the time “Oh I did that and nothing happened.” You got the results your subconscious mind accepted whether you consciously wanted this or not. The reason you didn’t get the results is because you indulged in fear and a few seconds later you neutralized your good. Until you bring it to awareness of what you say after you focus on your desire it will be the very thing you manifest. Suppose for example you say or think “I won’t be able to make my rent.” Before you go any further from “I won’t” STOP the sentence and focus on a positive statement such as “By day and by night I am prospered in all of my interests, ways, life, or whatever feels right for you.”
Your subconscious mind will never run out of ideas. It is connected to the unified field that Einstein so often referred to. There is within this field an infinite number of ideas which are ready to flow into your subconscious mind. This process I guarantee will continue to go on in your mind regardless of whether the stock market goes up or down. Your wealth is never truly dependent on bonds, stocks, money or the economy; these are really only symbols, necessary and useful of course, but only symbols.
The point I am trying to emphasize is that if you convince your subconscious mind that wealth is yours, and that it is always circulating in your life, you will always inevitably have it, regardless of the form it takes.
There are people who always struggle to meet their obligations. Have you listened to what they say? In many instances their conversation is always about what is wrong, or what isn’t right, it is always about fear, fear, fear! The reason most people speak critically about their more prosperous associates is because they are envious and covetous of the others prosperity. The quickest way to cause wealth to take wings and fly away is to criticize and condemn others who have more wealth than you.
The most common stumbling block to wealth is the emotion of envy. For example if you see someone who is richer than you, or has more wealth than you, it may make you envious. The way to overcome this emotion is to say to yourself, “Isn’t it wonderful that person has so much wealth. I want to have the same kind of wealth so I wish greater and greater wealth for him/her.”
To entertain envious thoughts is devastating because it places you in a very negative position; therefore, wealth flows from you instead of to you. If you get annoyed or irritated by the great wealth of someone else, immediately wish greater wealth for him/her in every possible way. This will neutralize the negative thoughts. in your subconscious mind and cause an even greater amount of wealth to flow to you by the law of the subconscious mind.
Remember the block or obstacle to wealth is in your own mind. You can destroy that mental block. So sleep and grow rich. As you go to sleep at night, practice the following technique. Repeat the word, “Wealth” quietly, easily and feelingly. Do this over and over again, just like a lullaby. Lull yourself to sleep with the one word, “Wealth.” You should be amazed at the result. Wealth should flow to you from you in avalanches of abundance. This is another example of the magic power of your subconscious mind.
- Decide to be wealthy the easy way, with the infallible aid of your subconscious mind.
- You do not have to strive or work hard to achieve wealth.
- Wealth is a subconscious conviction. Build into your consciousness the idea of wealth.
- Use the power of the invisible process of the subconscious mind.
- Repeat the word “Wealth” to yourself slowly and quietly for about five minutes prior to sleep and your subconscious mind will bring wealth to you.
- The feeling of wealth produces wealth. You want to be in alignment energetically with your intention. So if fear comes up work on letting it go so that you raise your vibration. Everything in the universe has a vibration and to create abundance you must keep your vibration up and positive!
- Your conscious and subconscious mind MUST AGREE! The dominant idea is always accepted by your subconscious mind. The dominant idea should be wealth not poverty.
- You can overcome any mental conflict regarding wealth by affirming frequently, “By day and by night I am being prospered in all of my interests.”
- Increase your wealth by repeating this over and over again, “My finances are improving every day; I am advancing, progressing ,and getting wealthier every day. This is adapted from Emile Coue’s affirmation, ” Every day and in every way I am getting better and better.”
- Stop writing bad checks such as “There is not enough to go around” or “The economy is so bad there is a shortage” These statements magnify and multiply your loss!”
- Deposit thoughts of prosperity, wealth and success in your subconscious mind and the latter will give you compound interest.
- What you consciously affirm, you must not consciously deny seconds later because this will neutralize the good you have affirmed.
- Your true source of wealth consists of the ideas in your subconscious mind and you can have an idea worth millions of dollars!! Your subconscious mind always gives you what you seek.
- Envy and jealousy are stumbling blocks to the flow of wealth. So accept and be happy for the wealth others have.
- The block to wealth is in your own mind. Destroy the block now by getting on great conscious terms with everyone and raising your vibration.
